18 ноября, в день памяти святителя Тихона Патриарха Московского и всея Руси, в гостях у Георгиевского храма побывала школьная паломническая группа из города Жуковский Московской области.
Паломническая группа в составе учащихся, родителей и педагогов в количестве 42 человек из лицея МБОУ №14 им. М.М. Громова познакомилась с храмом вмч. Георгия Победоносца и приняла участие в мастер-классе иконописания.
Познавательную экскурсию по храму провел настоятель отец Феодор Фомин, а творческий мастер-класс для гостей провели Марина Петрова и Ольга Зубова — выпускники студии «Устюжское иконописание».
